Hi All, This advert is on behalf of a good mate of mine, As some of you know this was my old daily user for a short time before I had to sell it in order to jump on to the property ladder. My mate uses a van day to day so it has only been a second car for him and he cherishes as much as I did. So on with the spec: Basically the car is a T 99 plate vauxhall astra sri but with a c20let cavalier/calibra turbo motor in. From what I can remember the spec is something like this engine wise..........

It's running around 280bhp on eds phase 2, It's had a full engine rebuild around 5K ago, honed, crank ground oversized bearings, arp rod bolts, all new gaskets and seals, steel head gasket, recon head with all new valves. The block has also been cleaned and painted. The car also has large front mount intercooler, bailey dump valve, vxr injectors and courtney heat shield, xe inlet cam, magnicore ht leads, iridion plugs, etc.

Bodywise its standard and mint due to me almost completely repainting it no more than 6mnths ago If I remember correctly I painted everything apart from the roof and tailgate as these were mint anyhow, Its also lowered approx 30mm too and runs on the newer astra gsi wheels which some call snowflakes these were also painted when I did the car in Bmw steel grey.

I do believe the mileage is around 160k approx on the car with some history but obviously not on the motor as stated above. There was a fair amount of bills for the engine rebuild parts etc mainly autovaux and regal. I actually bought it with a full mot so I'd imagine they'll be around 6 months test left on it and tax will be due but Im sure both can be negotiated with the price etc. As far as Im aware there is no current faults with the car and Im sure it will please whoever buys it! The only downside is the cars still on the F18 box it came from the factory with so could potentially do with an F28 or similar to handle the extra power from the let motor however the F18 is still going strong with no whines or crunches to date.

please see the following links to how I bought it:

And also how it was by the time I'd come to sell:

I imagine those threads between them will tell you most of what you may want to ask but If not please pm me and I will do my best to answer your questions. Alternatively If your genuinely interested in buying the car pm me and I will put you in touch with the seller, If we could keep the spam to a minimum I'm sure the admin would appreciate it! Pics below are mine from just weeks before I sold it but Im told its still in great order and I will be taking some more tommorow night for anyone potentially interested etc, His reason for sale is he has something more powerful and fun on the way! Price wise he's looking for £3700 ono and the car is located in York, Many thanks, Nick.
