Been trying to get the SR clocks into my nova for a little while now, and finally found out why they won't go. The speedo cable fouls on the part circled below:

Any ideas?

I had the same prob fitting some SRI clocks in Carrie's car, ended up forcing it and breaking the cable :( used a GTE cable as the speedo clock is tight on the left as the original clocks its in the centre. You can jsut about get away with it by bringing the cable up the left handside of that bracket...

it looked too close to me to do that, but I will give it a go, cheers :)

Got it in now :) soon as i started moving the cable i could see where the cut out was for the sr cable to go, doh :tard: bit worried about the speedo cable though, it has been moved about a lot, do you really know when it's gone or does it just not work when you start moving? I'd take it out to test but I'm still on L plates lol

If the speedo doesn't work you know it's fecked lol They're only a few quid from a motor factors, and easy to fit.
