couple of ideas i need advice on

1. if your are planning to get a car re-sprayed do you have to remove the windows and the rubbers that go round them.

2. and if you were to delock the doors how do you set them up to lock and unlock without a key (i will keep the handles to open the doors)

any advice tips welcome

1. For a quality job yes its best to remove all that stuff to get a good coverage of paint.

2. You need a remote central locking module or an alarm with one, wire them up to the door motors and that way you can lock and unlock the doors with no key. But bear in mind that if your batery goes flat you have to improvise you way in.

you can still get in the car via the boot if you dont delock that so i could still do the doors
