Right the story begins i bought me my nova xe as a sleeper because it had rust on the doors etc etc however ive had my fun in my sleeper rusty nova and came across a half decent 1.2 she just needs a plate on the inner wing quite bad - ish but worse than the xe and 2 arches, comapered to the xe that wants a plate on the inner wing where the loom runs into the front arch bulkhead and the rear panel is fooked as well as the roof being rippled. Also the conversion imo was abit of a bodge using origional mounts just cut and welded and bodging some of the water hoses and wires etc but i paid cheap for it so what can i say lol
The plan is to reshell th xe after pvs into my new shell and either
full respray inside and out in breeze blue, or glacier white
Maybe see if i can get me some van panels made up
full cage
lowered abit more maybe coilovers
some nice clocks gauges etc inside
some harness
bucket seats etc basically prepare it for the track which i want to do sometime next year.
but 1st i have to gut the 1.2 shell and replace rear arches front wings and do weling under the bonnet and seam weld i think? (not sure as iv heard a a welded bay is more likely to flex under the heat etc?) and i want to powder coat most things and engine etc will also have a freshen up just belts plugs etc etc.
