Our track slag.....

Bought this nova XE last weekend as intentional track car, but might keep it as daily hack for work too, will see!

AS it stood when we bought it..

First job on the list was to get the plastics off and get the paint removed as they were awfully cracked!

after removing them and realising that theyve had a very thick coat of primer and quite a bit of paint, its taken the best part of a week ( ok 2 nights lol ) to get the paint off, there are a few burn marks on my arms off the nitromorse :(

The car had just had 2 new arches in and only a rough skim of catty and aerosol to blend them in, so thought it would be best to get it painted, the boot and bonnet arent too bad at all so just had 2 sides painted to neaten it up a bit...

and a few tonight after weve got it home, excuse the overspray but that was from previous bodge jobs lol on the lookout for a new rear bumper if anyone has one lying about..

sideskirts will be on in a day or 2 once weve got em to the right finish and colour

Once the sideskirts are on will be sorting out the wheels i think, need to get some 195's on as the 205s that are on it are catching!

Will prob change wheel colour then, should be next weekend if all goes to plan

its a bit rough round the edges but nothing a bit of cash wont fix, its only our track car tbh so as long as engine, suspension and brakes are a1 the rest is a bonus

Loving the slabs think they would look better dark grey or black though.

theyll be going either anthracite or gloss black, edging towards gloss black tbh though, will get onto em prob in 2 weeks

got a busy few weeks ahead!

update from today, got the back seats out, removed all the sound deadening from under back seat, primed and painted to tidy up

next job is to put the GTE rear bumper back on it and then paint the boot handle and front splitter trims back to satin black
