Depends which car there from, Cav / Cally used 284mm or 288mm discs. Its only the Vectra that uses the 308mm discs.

They'll be 288s then
308s use different calipers/brackets

Some V6 calipers used 284x24mm discs.

Not necessarily. Best bet is to identify the numbers cast into the calipers & someone on the forum will know if they are early Cav/calibra (284 setup) or later Vectra (288) stuff.

288 discs are typically far cheaper as they are more common. The other option is FIAT 20v coupe discs. They are cheap.

[edit] I'm talking out my ar$e - 16v or 20v N/A will do. Its the 284x22 39.4mm discs you want - the turbo ones I think are deeper, and the 20v came with 305mm discs.

Calibra had both 288 (=>96) and 284 (<96) discs on it - the easiest way to tell them apart is actually by the brake pad, if an old one is still in there. 284s have pads that look similar in shape to the 256 pads; the 288 pads are fatter, more "square" looking.

The fiat coupe discs will fit both calipers I would assume, as they're the same diameter as the vauxhall 284 discs. I use the fiat discs on my 288 calipers.

I was told the Fiat Discs are **** and dont fit right, how do you find them Jack?

Spot on fitment, went on like a glove!

No wobble or vibration, braking is good. Although to be fair its only had short distance, low-ish speed tests at the moment and hasn't been used on the road properly yet.

Ok, thats good!! :D

Which Discs did you use, there seems to be quite a few different ones for the 20vt

16 or 20v N/A, avoid the turbo ones.

I used the 39.something-mm height ones, theory being its easier to space the caliper out than the disc if it didn't fit right.

The only issue with the 20v disc is the ID of the middle hole on the disc is larger than the hub, therefore its a pain in the pooper to get the wheels on unless you have a small spigot ring made. Once the wheel is on though, as long as you have drilled out the holes by no more than 1mm, the studs will keep the disc dead centre on the hub.

The calipers would need custom brackets maching up. Then you may find you have clearance issues behind alloys etc.

Ive got Coupe discs to put on mine.
Definently avoid the Turbo versions because they wont fit as there 304mm instead of the 284mm.
