suspension-which kit?

i have a 1.6 8v nova and im looking to buy my suspension this week but im just wondering which kit you lot use or recommend?i have a budget of about £550 for the suspension kit itself and it will be used for b roads/occasional trackdays.my car at the moment is fully polybushed running no front antiroll bar and i will be getting adjustable tiebars.my car is also my daily driver but i can compromise comfort for ultimate handling:D

For £500 ish, I would be looking at Gaz or Avo Coilovers matey...

How is the ride quality poor? As in harshness? It wont be as soft as standard, no - but I am sure he realises that! lol

For that monet the coilovers will be damping adjustable anyway, so just set them to soft! :)

MY daily drive has coilovers on it and I do about 20K a year... they are NO different to using other methods of suspension in the comfort stakes.

for a fabulous compromise the big piston bilsteins with decent springs are excellent!!!

B8's or KONI's. I had endless grief with suspension & the KONI adjustables I bought ended the whole scenario. GAZ seem to get nothing but praise & are on offer currently.

I'm getting a set of GAZ to replace the fuggered bilstein coilovers on the VX.... cant beat dealing direct with the factory £300 for a set :D

I've got Spax RSX on the Nova and they brilliant! Also got Billies on the Manta with 400lb front srings and 250lb rears and they're awesome as well...

Depends if you want adjustability or not really?

yeah i will do.i emailed julian at balance motorsport today and asked if the discounted price was with the rear coilovers but he said no its extra for coilovers on the rear:( .so im just awaiting an email back to see how much extra it will be with the rears

iv got a -60mm kit on gmax gas shocks, very very hard ride but tbh the seats kind of counter act that.. lol

i have just had an email from elite-shocks where stuart recommended and they said they can do the kit for £400 but it takes a couple of weeks for the order but i need it asap :( .so for anybody using the search function or looking to get a set of GAZ coilovers make sure you check them guys out:thumb:
