Flocked my dash binnacle the other day usind a £20 odd kit from Frosts. Was really easy to do to be honest and i'm really pleasd with the results!

All I did was:
Remove bits from car (5mins)
Wash in hot soapy water (5mins)
Leave to dry (hour in front of heater)
Spread on glue with brush (5mins)
Apply big coat of flock (5mins)
Left to dry (8hours to be sure)
Dusted off flock with soft brush (5mins)
Fitted (5mins)

I think the pics speak for themselves!

Yea its furry enough, sort of suede to the touch. I've only done the bits in the pic but with what i've got left I could probably do another 3 dash binnacles. You can buy more flock material if need be though from the same place.

I'm not sure how hard wearing flocking is. I'd not personally do doorcards with it!

Cost me £22.45 delivered to my door ;)

Fair play mate - good find! I get the Frosts catalogue and not seen a flocking product before:confused: . I'd better look harder.

I've seen the Frost kits before, was thinking about ordering some of their stuff. Quite fancy having me some flocked interior bits, wasn't sure about how good the quality would be and how much each pack of material would do though.

You need this kit (http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=9441), scroll down for the black kit.

Hot soapy water
Kitchen towel
Paintbrush x2
Somewhere to work
Dash plastics

1. Wash the bits to be flocked in hot soapy water and leave to completely dry (kitchen towel)

2. Evenly apply the glue with paintbrush making sure you cover every millimetre

3. Use the supplied 'puffer' to apply the flock to the glue

4. Leave to dry for 24hours

5. Use other clean dry paintbrush to brush off excess flock (keep this, you can re-use)

6. Refit plastics to car

7. Stand back and admire

8. Post pics on PNG.
