Door wont lock

Hi my passenger door will not lock. the door pin doesn't move up or down and the key wont do it either

any ideas what i can do?

Have you tried taking the door card off and having a look at the mechanism to see what is wrong?

no not yet its just happened, any way to lock it for the night?

Cant you move the lock pin by hand either then?

Is it just loose and not attached to the lock, or does it seem jammed?

the pin seems jammed but when the door is open i can flick the lock on the side of the door into the locked position but then obviously the door wont close. :)

done it! just pushed the door pin down really hard and it locked. might need greasin or summat.

Take the door card off and have a look at the rods and mechanism. Lock might have seized
