i have done the rear arches so it can be lowered so now its a case of buying a lowering kit to set it off niceley........

It was a 1.4L and when i bought it it was in 5 differant colors :o but it already had the kit on. its been off the road for 7 weeks cos the cambelt failed (it was only 2 months old :evil: thats the last time i buy parts from halfords)
Hopefully it will be running today cos its now got New waterpump, kent AST 1 camshaft, weber 32/34, 1.3sr head................... just a few pipes and a choke cable to install and i will see if it will start

Looks cock on to me once its lowered which is def. necessary.
Painted drums = good
Rear disc conversion = even better 8)

Looking good! Sorry to harp on about the drums, but make sure you get them shot blasted first to remove all the crappy flaky bits. Bet you wish you'd posted a pic of the front wheel now!!! :lol:

yeah.....get them drums painted up, don't bother with the blasting though just give them a good once over with a wire brush.
and finally, nice vent....what is it?

Well it sort of runs now, carb settings are way out so its stuck on the drive till i can afford to get it crypton tuned. :roll: :(
dave.sr...... the vent is a secret cos its 1 of 2 in the country on a nova :wink: the other is on ultimate novaboy's (john) from RB

no only joking, it's no problem m8 they are on my todo list but bear with me its a dam long list which includes welding in the boot and near the drivers front suspension turret before a lowering kit :cry:
like i said its a long (and expensive) list but it will be mint by the time i have finished with it :)

there is a clio round here with that vent on but its up the other way (vent faces the windscreen :?: :?: )

Thankyou all for youre kind comments but none of you commented on there only being 2 nuts in that back wheel :D :lol:
Will post some better pics when the paint is sorted (again) thinking of purple with a blue flip as i know someone with about 2 litres going spare which he was going to use on his :twisted: :roll: :twisted:
