Do you see many of these CD players about any more or even back in the day when they would have been brand new?

Seen a similar one with tape, claimed to come out of a Gsi

That dosnt even look like the one vaux used in the vectra's

Never seen one!

Just wondering - Seen one on ebay there and it was going for about £70+

I thought that was a lot for an original item :)

I used to like Blaupunkt stuff. No frills unlike Kenwood & Pioneer with all the flashing lights & coloured displays.

Thats an OE one but there range is usually named after places like Casablanca etc.

I'll swap my alpine 50 by 4 head unit for that hehehe, its an OEM and atleast i dont have to worry about taking the face off all the time, and no one will bother nicking it.

Blaupunkt CD200, that was a rather costly option on mk3 cavs.

I'll swap my alpine 50 by 4 head unit for that hehehe, its an OEM and atleast i dont have to worry about taking the face off all the time, and no one will bother nicking it.

Plus it will probably fit a Novas ISO plug without needing the pins re-arranging.

Mines is a CD 300 mate - There quite costly from eBay

Some have them and some don't the ones without the display have the external display like the newer Vauxhalls :)

Oooops !! , i smashed one to bits about 6 months ago , lol anyways i had to make way for the jvc

PS: I woudnt personally have it in my car as they look really old , like flintstone material

I think it will sound alot better, running a sterio like that on the standard speakers, im being serious i'll swap my 50 by 4 cd/mp3 player for one of those (with cash on top) if anyones interested.

No i meant your set and money, for my alpine, but i will consider a straight swap coming to think of it if your unit is mint, my alpine is in good condition, but its just too powerfull for the standard speakers, and i cant be bothered to upgrade as its a second car and dont wanna mess with the interior. What you recon, i can give you details if you wish
