cam belt 2lt red top

hi i got a 2lt red top nova for banger racing can anyone tell me what cam belt i need 2 get because the belt is looking thin and it has jumped a toth but just missed the vavles thanks

Buy a cambelt for an XE?!
There are 2 types.. early or late. the pullies are in slightly different places...

Open the oil cap and look in. It should be stamped in there what year the engine was made. Go by that.

Not a good way of looking as most of them will have had the heads changed at some point in there life.

If it has two rollers and a tensioner it is a late setup. If it has one roller and a tensioner it is the early setup.
