got a better idea! use a coil bracket and bolt it to the side of the wheel well. you can ditch the little damper thing also in the cradle.

Or scavenge one from an Astra or similar. Mines got a GTE 16cv cradle which isnt suspended off the chassis leg, but suspended on rubbers within the cradle..... different but no better.
