i think its alot of p1sh. it just so happens this guy knows where to look for rust on a nova and he's got a set of speedlines for it. what are the chances? am not saying its not possible.

He's asking way too much for a "free" car that owes him ****.

Lol , If you did get it for free you wouldnt tell any one as they would try and knock u down as it owes you nothing :)

If i got it free i would ask what he is asking for it and if no one would pay that i would cut the roof off and weigh it in for scrap.

someone will apy that for it if its as good as he says/it looks

why does it matter what the guy before you paid for it ? you dont walk into a shop and refuse to pay the price advertised because the shop paid less do you

bet some one would buy it, moneys not that much of an object to some people, its easier to pay over the odds then search the rest of the country for another 1, "at the right price"
agreed its a bit off a unlikely story as soon as he mentioned the speedlines. the guy knows nothing about the car having just aquired it, but buys a set of wheels for around £700 then sells it on PISTON HEADS?
hed more likely sell it in the local paper for £500, if he didnt know anything about the cars!
he could of done a bit of research on the net but i doubt it!

Most novas ive seen on pistonheads have had "1 lady owner" or "elderley careful owner and never welded" "absolutely solid" lol

Late mudflaps and speedlines rings says to me its been owned by a enthusiast at some point, he says he bought the speedlines as the originals are hard to get? He hasn't looked very hard? Only 2 wheels? Now has speedlines aswell, why not post pics of it with the speedlines, and how did he get it out side of the garage for the pics if it only had 2 wheels?

Some thing isn't right to me

would like to see the log book to see if its at the same address would be a big give away, i'll belive it when I see that proof

Maybe, just maybe he put two steelie wheels on it to push it out the garage, and maybe he used the interned/ebay to his advantage to get a rought valuation. Or maybe hes owned a nova in the past. Maybe him, like me, has a genuine GM 1990+ price guide covering the vauxhall range, that coupled with a glass's guide, eBay, MIG or here could have led him to his price.

Cap avrage value was £5700!! If it comes in at that price then watch this space!! I can't see it mind lol

id pay 2500 for that if it was perfect, wouldnt care what story he gave once the car was genuine...

in reality its probably tidyd up and he bought it to sell lol
