clearence on the matrix pipe with a redtop

as in the title how do i get round having a bit more clearance between the matrix pipe and the inlet manifold??
pics if poss but just bein told will be fine.

i read somewhere its easier to cut 10-15mm off the pipe on the matrix

Bend it downwards or cut it down.

For the C20XE Conversion, as per TV's Guide.

Cut the pipe on the matrix down so you can fit the hose before putting the matrix in the car. Enlarge the hole in the bulkhead so you can fit a wiring grommet big enough for the hose to pass through.

Don't worry about doing all that, just chop it down a little, will be fine.

just bend it by acident it when fitting the engine lol luckly i bent it the right way and the hose fitted perfect :thumb:
