Another problem!!

Well today at work thought I would have a quick check under the car to see if everything was ok, chucked it on the ramp and had a look. Then to discover my catalytic convertor was knackered!
Went to get some prices and it was £169inc vat for a new cat!

I thought sod paying that so I just ordered a new front-pipe and middle section of a non cat model nova.

Then went about fitting it, starting undoing the front-pipe bolts and one snapped!! Was not happy!

So what i thought would be a 20 min job turned out to be 2hours! Had to take the airbox off, then the plugs and then the manifold off.

Then i went about getting the old snapped bolt out of the manifold, drilled it out then made a new thread.

Then it all went together ok, also trial fitted a tailpipe which came of an alfa!

jebus... I had to get a new "front section + CAT" for a pug 106 a little while back and it cost £50, brand new!!! so how the hell is a nova cat so much?

I'd get the 106 cat and mod the pipes to fit lol
