Nova SR

Hi guys, could someone tell me whether an F-Reg Nova 1.3 SR in white, colour coded, grey interior, lowered and with SR 3 spoke alloys is worth ?475.
Also, I'm not good mechanicaly, what is a modified cam?

A modified cam means one of two tings...

1. He or she has put an upgraded cam in..ie. a Piper or a Kent fast road cam or summit...(which improves performance, but if it's the wrong cam, can make the car a fucking nightmare to drive)

2. He's actually sent off the original SR cam to Kent or someone, or even an engineering firm, and got them to grind it to give it better performance. He or she probably wont have done this cos it costs the same amount as actually buying a new cam.

Have a drive of it mate and if it drives like shit...don't buy it, or, use the cam as an excuse to get the price down (even though ?475 for an F reg 1.3 Sr is fucking cheap, so watch out mate, cos thats a bit too cheap...)

I phoned up, and the fucking thing was sold!
So I am looking for a SR or GTE for ?400 or under.

A Sr or a GTE for under ?400? you'll spend twice as much as that repairing it in the first couple of months mate....

decent one's seem to be going for about ?700...
