I bought a full set of goodridge internal brake lines with all the fixings etc from a Nova rally car today....

Thing is I am struggling to work out which is which!! There are loads of banjos everywhere and I havenmt got anything to fix them to! lol

I am assuming that 2 of them bolt to the pedal box?

PICS PLEASE!! ;)

any good?

If I did it again tho I'd run two lines to the back (cheaper) or if running a single line i'd use some male-male adapters on the T piece and use female swivle joints coming off that. Also on that diagram the end pieces going into the brake should be banjo's

ace... so you have one side of the m/c working only?
Any pics of the fronts? Do they bolt to inner wings?

yea, Im only using one of the rear outlets. The fronts are still copper pipe and standard issue Goodridge hoses to the calipers. I'd just run the braided stuff along the same route as standard pipe, theres a few pinch tabs but you'll probably want some rubber washer type things just to protect the paint.

Anyone know the thread and pitch etc of the banjo bolts I need for my pedal box?

And where did you get it all from Ash?

Hi Will,

Not sure where Ash got his bits and bobs from, but I know that Think Auto (http://www.thinkauto.com/) have some great offers, and offer these bits

Hope this helps

Olly

The banjo bolts I used for the rears were M10x1 (1 being the thread pitch IIRC) unsure if its the same on a pedal box, but i'd assume so...

Also I got my parts from Rally Designs, the part numbers on the diagram relate to there site ;)

the M/C's from a bias setup will be imperial... did you get them with reservoirs?

Yes I did...

So far, I have ordered 4 3/8 UNF lol

IIRC if your cylinders will use 2 different sized banjo bolts.

Yep they do... I think they are 3/8 and 7/16 UNF but unsure if they are fine or course threads!

do the reserviours have lines/fittings for the cylinders?

its the angled outlet from the M/C that you need to hook the lines upto. the verticle hole is for the reservior

Can you not just take it all along to a branch of PIRTEK or summat & get them to identify it all?

They'd prolly have no qualms in doing that in exchange for a bag of doughnuts.
