I'v searched for this but for some reason no joy. Would have though it would have been asekd before though.

My car is a facelift model, however it was built around the time that some parts were changed in 1990. (October IIRC???)

Is there any way I can tell easily by looking at something which period the car is from...after the 1990 changes or before?

Cheers

brake calipers are a huge giveaway.

Most 1991 MK2's will have the old Delco (square pad, 2 pins) calipers.. after that and they should have the more modern ATE (dinky versions of the "Valver" brakes)

Look at your interior & dash plastics. They'll have a date (year & month) Not too accurate but gives yopu a rough idea.

My GSi has Oct 1990 on its plastics & was registered new in Dec 1990.
