Attention 'loon officiandos and general nova boffins

Will a standard Mk 1 front bumper (without integrated grill) quoted as fitting a saloon fit ok on a Mk 2 hatchback front end? The arches are different I know but does this affect the bumper fitment?

Not exactly, the saloons always had a seperate grill and bumper, but there is a difference in the early and late mark 1's.

On the early ones, the bumper was completely flat and had no recess for the grill, but on the later ones, the bumper was the same as the hatch with a recess for the grill.:thumb:

They will all fit though!

It will fit, may not sit perfect but it will fit.

If the bumper is listed as only to fit the saloon then it will be the flat type, as amgsi pointed out.
