I got a spot of corrosion coming around the inner arches when in the engine bay, the typical areas.

Now im looking to get them sorted while they are very minor and can be sorted in one afternoon. But I was considering using that stuff that looks like bonding or sealant. The stuff im talking about is normally used to seal to panels lips that are next to each other typically to stop water ingress; for example, if you look in the battery tray of your Nova theres some used by Vaux from the factory.

Basically I want to add further protection to these areas to stop rust coming through.

Thanks :thumb:

Sorry for the bad description really cant find the words to explain it :tard:

That just seals though. It doesn't stop rust spreading

I know but once the corroded bits are fixed that should stop water sitting under the seams so it will help prevent rust.

Thats my plan.

Just looked at the thread "engine bay colour" and trackdaynova has a pick of an engine bay and looks like what Im thinking of doing.

Where can I get this shizzay from?
