Hmmm, when i was at vaux, the apprentices only took home approx 6-750 pm. and only slightly more than that in the first year of being qualified. if you are on what you say, i don't reckon you'll be getting a rise for some years yet!

I used to work for Kwik-Fit, it shows in my build quality!

£950 a month isnt bad for a 17 year old, but I bet you get like one weekend off a month.

950 a month for an apprentice , i take it your a first year one as your 17 , tbh i think your being slightly over paid , im a apprentice to and i work half 8 - quarter to 5 monday to thursay and fridays 8 - 4 , and we all walk away with around 600 , maybe a little more if we do overtime , which is time and a half after 5 and on sundays its double trouble , stick at if if you think the wages are good quickfitt would be good for tyre fitting and pish easy maintenace jobs , would you not think of moving somewhere different as already mentioned your wages might not budge for a few years yet , I know how hard it is to get buy on apprentice wage as i fcuked about for 2 years then got my ar$e in gear im 19 on roughly 600 a month and owning a nova doesnt help my bank ballance lol , stick to your guns and learn the trade well then do your own thing .
