right basicly i want to get my car to pvs... it is registered in my name but because im 16 i cant drive or insure it .. would my dad be able to get day/weekend insurace to cover it ? even tho its in my name >?

The vehicle must be registered/manufactured in or after the year 1993
That puts the kybosh on just about all Novas :(

Try the AA, they covered me on Alex's Polo (via privilege iirc), and thats a 1984 car.

AA site (http://www.theaa.com/insurance/short-term-car-insurance.html) for short term insurance.

I think www.tempcover.com handle the AA's business, and their T&C's allow you to get tax with their cover, where as most of them don't allow that.

[edit] Is it modified? Most temporary policies won't touch cars with mods.

I know PVS has gone but norwichunion do short term insurance cover for 1-28 days and its pretty cheap

you can get tax with that insurance also as I have done it :o)
