wing mirror trouble

mywing mirror is constantly shaking, sort of flapping. Problem is its missing sort of like the spring bit, if thats right??? Or maybe i'm talking rubbish?? Anyway can I get just the spring bit or do i have to replace the whole mirror??

They are held in place with small 'ball joint' type clips. The ball ends clips are held firm with the assistance of a metal reinforcer shaped like a 'C'. Force the wing mirror forward or back to reveal these catches and you will see.
