Nova gsi fuel sender fitting?

Pulled the fuel sender out of my nova a while back and now i cannot get the fecker back in. Can anyone give me any advice as to how you do it?

Trial and error really.
You have to put it in at an angle and then turn it into the right position

O what fun. Tried for about 15 min tonight and got well hacked off with it.

If i remember rightly, put it in on its side, move the float end thing around the swirl pot and the sender should then turn
