i cant get the pedal arms of the botem bracket tho?
do they just "pull" off? weve tryed usinga bearing spliter and loadsa pulling tools but it dont move?? i just wana ride haha
you can get a special tool for that aswell, kinda like a steering wheel puller, i used to have self extracting crank bolts (or whatever therer called) when i used to ride

how does that work? do you have a pic of the tool?
i lost it ages ago lol
its like a threaded socket you wind into the crank (where the bolts go) and as you tighten it it pops the crank arm off the spindle, if that makes sense

ahhh i see you wind it into the pedal arm then crank it round and it pushes the bottom bracket out of the pedal?

yeah thats it fella
i ended up getting some of these tho http://www.bikemannetwork.com/biking/p/COMPBBPRTCRKBOLT/CR2198
meant whenever i snapped a BB i could swap it quickly or while still out riding if i had a spare with me

Top man, thank you.
whats that do^?
when you undo the crank arm bolt it pulls the crank arm off with it - no need for any other tools, a godsend when i was miles away from home and broke a BB as it was before i could drive
