Track Days - Tyres

Now people are in the mood for shows and track days, im looking for some super grippy tyres for my road going nova turbo.

will be on the 15" tigra 5 spoke alloys as on dec burkes old nova, not sure on width?

whats the best road legal track tyre on the market now?

best tyre size for my application?

any sources to buy?

all recommendations, advice etc appreciated! thanks

Toyo 888s

toyo 888s are a great tyre. been told the yoko a048r's are very good also (just got a pair to try out as it happens) but moe expensive than the 888s.

You'll find you'll have to get a 195/50. I found the 888s to have quite a bulgy sidewall which means higher ride height whereas the a048rs are straighter.

for a more roady tyre that still takes a beating on track well
Kumho KU31 (camskill, its under MPV/normal road tyres lol)
Hankook RS2 (camskill, track tyres)
