Yes finaly i got my damm little 1.2carb out.
After being let down about 3hoists i chose to do it the nova way! droped the engine and used tons of bits of wood to lift the body. My little argos jack stood up to it untill the engine was out.

As im a man with a small toolbox i didnt have a socket for the hub nut so i striped out the struts, and lower arm and eveything.

I know Most of you will think "ahh thats nothing wait untill you ......" but as some of my friends know, i know f*** all when it comes to mechanics.

Anyway here is some pics, crap though as from my phone.

If your new to mechanical side of things of cars then a nova is a good place to start. They are easy to work with, I would imaginemost on here should be able to get a engine out a nova in well under a hour lol.

I miss the days of ripping engines out of novas on my drive lol

well done fella

when you do strip everything from the engine make sure you undo the nut on the end of the CV before you pull the shafts out - makes life alot easier, trust me

Tip for the future:

Undo the front tie bar bolt 22mm

Undo the inner control arm bolt.

Pull the wheel hard and the driveshaft comes out of the box. No need to take suspension or shafts off of the car.

I took it all off as im going to paint everything up and it was easyer to just strip it all out at once.
