Reet...

For the past half a year or so i have noticed that when i bend my right leg back something pops/moves/clicks at the top of my knee cap on the right
and i can see it clearly move through my skin and easily feel it with my finger.

I was readin up on stuff to do with knee cartilage last night but still not clued up about it.

Has anybody had simular symptoms and what did you do about it.

Also since i have been playing football alot more i have noticed it hurts when i get in and out my car aswell.

Thanks.

Go to a doctor :)

I wouldn't trust anyones internet diagnosis. And even then, your still going to have to go to a doctors.

Actually I think he'll get very good advice about medical issues on a car forum. IMO you won't be able to walk by 20 and it will be amputated before you get to 25.

My knee always clicks, sometimes if I'm crouched down I don't dare stand back up cos I can feel it's about to do it lol Don't know why it does it but I'm not worried about it. Good reason to get Dougie to fit my Cav with CC, give my right legt a rest! But yeah, if you are worried then you should go to the doctors.

I'm just worried about how much you can see it when i bend my knee.

It like pushes up against my skin and moves along it. lol

I had painful knees when I was about the same age. They did an arthroscopy and I had tissue growing over the whole knee, so every time I bent it, ihe tissue was tearing. They cut it all away and now fine.

A surgical technique whereby a tube-like instrument is inserted into a joint to inspect, diagnose and repair tissues.

SO maybe a trip to doctors would be advisable

what you need to do is take 17 x 20gram doses of Oxytetracycline a day, that'll sort you out.

get to the quacks, ask him to send you to a specialist, push to get a bit of keyhole surgery. My sister had a similar problem a few years ago.

My knees are awful, they make some rather nasty crunching noises when walking up stairs. I can't crouch down for too long either, and usually make the old man noise when getting up out a chair lol

If you can feel something moving though, or are at all concerned about it go see a doctor straight away. Even if he tells you its fine at least it puts your mind at rest.

i had similar trouble with my left knee. I cured it by nearly dying in a head on smash & having my knee bolted back together by a very good surgeon. after 8 weeks of physio, it was better than my right one.............

seriously when I was about eighteen i went to the quacks cos a tendon in my leg was clunking when I moved it & they said 'these things happen, do you want signing off on the sick for a few weeks?' i responded that I wanted to be cured if it wasn't too much trouble but they said it was.......
