c16 head issues

can any tell me what the holes for that looks like a exhaust hole of some type under the inlet manifold?about 12mm diameter....

The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve take off?

As per the reply PM I sent...

Easy way is just blank it off with a suitable bolt - make sure you dip the thread with thread lock to seal any gaps too.

Also, be very careful when tightening the bolt as you risk cracking the head if its over tightened!
