As a few of you know i had my first attempt on ebay, got myself a nova and as bad as it is, i bought it blind due to work restrictions and not being able to view it.

I havent touched it yet since picking it up on monday but here are a few random pictures of it from my phone as it is (please note the car is covered in clear waxoil within the engine bay/boot as can be seen clearly in some shots etc)

The spare in the boot is the original one and has never been removed etc etc as a guide to how the car was looked after. It is by no means concourse and has some minor niggles (as you would expect from an old car with 36k on it), but nothing at all that can be taken away from the whole picture the car portrays and stands for so it is deemed as 'mint' :D

That must be one of the cleanest origional nova's i have evr seen , lol u got a rite car to make a mojor project of . :thumb:

PS: I maybe wrong but how come you dont have a centre console ( rapping round the gear stick , under the centre of the dash/shelf ) , mines mk 1 and mine does .... ????

this one wont become a project, I have built many variations over the years but never kept one clean and standard. It will stay as it is as i have the wide arch track shell to sort out when i can finally get time for it. The car is about the most basic they did apart from the fact it has the tilt/slide sunroof as an optional extra :)

Wow, thats minty mint Dan :)

What are the few niggles?

Dan

There are a few teeny weeny scratches caused by a key just by the odd lock on the car (colourmagic or the like may cover then over) and there is a partially lifted peice of paint about the size of a 20p peice by one of the tie bar mounting points which is only a small bit of surface rust.

Thats about it tbh as the tiny bit of corrosion on 2 of the wheels, (one is seen in the pics) i dont mind that as it helps to show its true age and not just a set of fresh blown over wheels etc.

I havent given it a inch for inch going over as it truly doesnt need it :thumb:

Very very tidy for an everyday town run about. I cant see it going down in value if you keep it like that! Excellent acquisition:)
