f28 gearbox mount fitting?

if i fit a chris astley f28 mount then where do you need to weld on the bracket as i cant put the engine in yet.

You have to fit the engine and box, get it all supported level, and then mark where the mount needs to go, remove everything, then weld the mount on.
Its not something you can really do by guessing tbh, as different people may have used diffferent mounts.

But as Adam said i wouldnt try untill you have the engine and box in first !

as a rough guide, if you put a straight edge over your wing tops, and measure down to the front of your rocker cover it should be 20mm ish IIRC
