tried to take my 3spokes off today to try my bros wheels on my car to see if they look right and found out that the guy i brought it off has 2 locking wheel nuts on each wheel but didn't give me the damn nut key
what can i do to get them off?
any advise?
cheers, dave.
Weld or hammer a socket onto them.
Maybe scour ebay for a set with a key that will fit?

Whatever you do don't take them to a dealership as they will a$$ rape money out of you to do it lol

i was thinking about welding a bar on and just taking them off, but was worried is there any way that welding a bar on could in turn weld the nuts into the hub?
Only if you do actually weld the nuts to the hub. Which would be a tad silly :D

slacken them with the weight off the wheel. if theres only the 2 remaining lock nuts holding the wheel and taking the weight of the car, the wheel tilts and locks the tapers on the wheel/bolts, making it seem even tighter. you wont get many good trys with welding a bar on, so make it count ;)
