Holiday suggestions

Alex and myself are having "discussions" about potential holiday locations.

Normally we take a week somewhere down in Cornwall, but next year we're (by "we're", read: woman has decided we're going elsewhere, so we're going elsewhere and I don't have say in it lol) looking to go somewhere a bit further afield.

Alex wants to go somewhere such as Venice, Rome, Cambodia (:wtf:), etc. I'll leave her to expand her input as to where she'd like to go.

My ideal holiday locations however would be places such as Australia (mostly the outback, but I wouldn't mind spending time in places such as Sydney), America (Route66 style), Jamaica, Middle east, or colder climates such as Sweden, Canada, etc. Possibly warm european destinations but mainly the rural areas of Spain, Italy or possibly the South of France. I'd prefer to avoid typical tourist areas, the last thing I'd want is to be stuck in a hotel on costa del chav surrounded by northerners lol

We can't really agree on anywhere both of us want to go... suggestions?

Basically, the amount of money we spend in Cornwall, we could spend on going somewhere out of the country and different.

And I don't want to go to Cambodia or Venice with you darling...they're suggestions of places for me to go next year on my own lol

you clearly dont do cornwall properly then to spend enough money to fly round the planet lol. Costs us £100 for a weeks accomodation (in november lol) on our annual trip to Kernow.

anyhooooo. basically look on teletext holidays, and dotn go anywhere they have deals on. That will fulfill jacks needs atreat :D

theres two sides to cuba : the mainland with loads of history, stuff to do on days out, and then theres the cayo's (little islands) just north of the mainland with some of the best beaches i've ever seen in the world :thumb:

Corfu is nice.... best way to see the amazing views is to hire a quad ;)

I'm off to Gran Canaria on Saturday for a week but I doubt that'd be your cup of tea.

I'd agree with Craig on Bulgaria... best to go there soon though as the more popular it gets the more Northerners it'll attract.

Sight seeing and relaxation for me, I'm too old for partaayyying lol

My mate has just gone on a holiday to Menorca actually. I'm not to keen on the Balearics tbh, too many northerners there :D would rather do Greek islands than Spanish, although some of those are edging on a bit towards Turkey. Which probably means a proliferation of kebab shops, which again will mean lots of northerners lol

Come to Limerick or West Belfast in Ireland. They're killing each other there on a regular basis. You might even be lucky enough to see a Murder!!

Flights are usually a couple of quid or get a ferry across. Oh and Bring me some Nova stuff as well. :D
