Not a nova (nissan sunny) tick-over issues

Its not a nova but worth asking, I just fitted a clutch to my mates nissan sunny 1.4 it ticked over fine before the clutch was fitted, Built it all back up turned the key and the idle was all over the shop like wanting to die down juddering then it would pick speed back up and carry on going up and down

I then took the throttle body off and cleaned all the crap off the butterfly valve started it up and it just went up to about 2k RPM on its own :confused: and stayed there like it wanted to idle at 2k RPM all the time so i took the battery off for an hour to reset the ECU, Connected it all back up and it's not idleing as high as 2k but its still too high.

Any ideas?

make sure all the sensors such as coolant temp air flow or map are plugged in hope this helps mate its probley something silly lol

im prety sure that all the connections are connected up right and yeah your probably right it will be something so simple it wouldnt have crossed my mind to check lol
