Best Oil?

My oil seems a bit low so am gonna get sum, any recommendations? (1.4 sr nova)

i use Mobil 1 Fully synthetic oil or Castrol RS (only cause i get it free).

If you do change from normal oil to synthetic dont forget to do a flush as the two DONT mix and will clog everything up and probably go bang!

i noticed that when i ran a nice thin oil it came out of lots of places lol i thought the head gasket had gone when oil came down the block lol

i just use castrol gtx magnatec for basic engines (or harvella coz its free at work)

yea i use magnatec but as you say dont use to thin a oil in old engines as it tends to make them rattle! prob due to lifters etc needing thicker support

magnatec every time! Also every now and again slick 50 engine treatment.
