Well been looking at a wide range of cars recently as in what I want to get next and there only really seems to be one that I havent been put off yet. Done quite a bit of research into them so I know what im looking for and after, its just seeing whether that car now comes up for sale.

I also got a really good quote on one even though 99% of the company almost had fit when I told them my age and the car in question lol. All I need to do now is find the right one for me.

Plus I got done over by one at pod when I was in my corsa, so they arent too slow and from what Ive heard they will kick you in the face at any opportunity and then continue to jump on your face while your on the floor with no mercy.

amazing cars imo.

theres 1 of them that used to sit round the corner from my house outside a printing shop(i havnet a clue what model it is though)

and ya want to hear the roar of the thing when he gave it the boot up the we street lined with houses lol.

the noise is outstanding.

i hear they are a real beast though in the handling department if you are to go by what the likes of top gear and whetavere tell you .

Well basically they are roughly 1000kg or there abouts and depending on which engine you get are 300-400bhp all through the rear wheels with no electrics to control it.

They do sound truely amazing, yuo just cant beat the sound of a good V8. They do have a bad rep though for reliability but hopefully most owners by now will have iron'd out most of the problems, just got to make sure get one thats been looked after properly.

I want something fun to drive and also something I can take on track and just as much fun. There are other cars I could get for the same money but tbh I wouldnt enjoy having a car drive me with all the gay safety features, TVR seem to have been designed to be as dangerous as possible and thats what I like lol

get the earlier one with the upside down cavalier rear lights, it will never get nicked cos the electrics are as unreliable as a citroen

for the record, my mate end over ended his Cerbra at 120mph (6 times), the chassis was only deflected by 7mm..... technically TVR could have rebuilt the car if it wasnt so financially stupid lol He "spun" his foot in the process lmao

My old Director bought a griffith. He parked it outside the office, then got everyone outside to 'hear the sound of the V8'

He leant in through the drivers window, turned the key, and then realised he'd left it in gear as it lurched into the wall :)

I love the sound of splintering fiberglass in the morning :)

fair play, if your going to crash do it right lol

Its a shame TVR dont do that many hard top cars as it would mean I would have more choice in what too look at, I really dont want soft top. (saying that cerberas leak enough water to make you think otherwise lol)

Oh Lee thats actually the kind of thing I would do, get everyone in the department to come an have a look then start it up in gear only to watch it chugging down the road into the back of a truck. Then spend the rest of the day putting bits of my front end in a bag while all the students are snigger at at me.

Good choice phil, personally I think its one of the best looking tvr's they made. Plus at least you've got used to not having ABS with the corsa lol

Not quite what you're after but I saw one of these at Goodwood recently - the owner had replaced the straight six (not the original straight six either) with a more reliable Chevy V8...

And he drove it in the snow without crashing - nice work!

BTW, if the Cerbera has fiesta lights, does that mean you could fit lexus clusters? lol

^^ hell yes, I like the tuscans but they have a very chocolate straight 6, with a V8 that must be amazing. That is just a crash waiting to happen, fair play though.
