New Arrival...

Hi guys,

As of 6.32am yesterday morning Claire and I became parents.
Eilidh Margaret O'Donnell arrived (6lbs 12oz) with no complications after an hour in the delivery suite. Both Mum and Baby are doing exceptionally well and should be home today about 4pm (so will have to record the Grand Prix for Claire).

I was in during the birth, in fact never left Claires side since we arrived at hospital, and witnessed the arrival of my daughter into this world. What a feeling! The staff were all brilliant and very helpful, and in all, made that the happiest and proudest time in my life.

She's gorgeous!! And very light for a normal baby now a days! Only an hour in the delivery room!! That's really good!

Also...how do you pronounce her name? I know someone called it and we just call her Ellie, even though that's wrong!! lol

It's pronounced ay-ley. Think scottish dance (Ceilidh) without the "C".

It's gaelic for Helen.
