Is that the one you mean? I think it looks amazing myself, the front of the car has been transformed.

Different - and for that you gotta respect it - the work that's gone into it must be vast - but I don't like it.

It just doesn't seem like a nova anymore...
and it's a 5 door - which doesn't help it's cause in my book.

I'm with wisewood on this one. I was going to transplant some different headlights on mine (coz they are a bit plasticky and crappy), but the amount of work i'd have to do is just not worth it, as it 'wouldn't even be a nova anymore', in a certain sense.

Now rebuilding the original headlights with clear glass and shiny chrome inner bits, would be THE SHIT.

thats really mint! but is it me or does it now have that saxo look about it!

I think its the front bumper - kind or rounds it off and makes it look like a saxo-sort of.

Looks really cool - proves the saxo was modeled on a nova! should be a Naxo!

Ade

IMO anyway!

tell u what would look really smart - Nova with BMW cats eyes lights - ya know the ones off of the 5 series - when theyre on dipped that evil cat like ring that glows - that'd look mental with a bad boy bonnet!

suprised no ones done it (prob coz of the cost of the lights!)

I looked at putting the 3 series beemer lights on mine but when we did some mock ups it just looked strange.

Still fancy doing different light but its finding ones to suit. Wonder if i can remove a set of HID ones from a police veccy before they realise lol.

Rob,

I am living with Slim at the moment, but I have found a flat and will hopefully be moving into it in a couple of weeks. It is in Central Milton Keynes,so not too far to walk to the bars! :D

just looked at the pic. I think it looks wicked. Makes it look real different. I like the bumper, but would change it if it was mine.

Lookes sweet though.

My mates gonna be pissed now.

Looks gr8, loads better than the Nova with Golf lights, (Gova/Nolf)

Maybe if it was a 3dr, packed a 2.5 V6 like the Nolf and wasn't bright red I'd like it even more.

What about rear Cluster mod's :?: :?:

That car is portuguese, and it was featured on a program on one of our tv channels about the "dangers" of modified cars, like racing on open roads versus modifying for fun, mainly ICE, as everything else is considered "dangerous". The mods are mostly external, there are the polo lights as you have seen, I believe the front bumper was a modified tuning bumper for an audi a3, the fuel filler is behind one of the rear clusters (hinged), and it's well slamed. Striped interior, roll cage I belive, buckets, metal like carpets. Standard engine (1.2 iirc), with just an air induction kit, and LOTS of chrome in the engine bay!!! You could eat off it!
I videotaped it, so I'll watch it again to see more mods.

right, i've got the gti mag feature in front of me now and it goes something like this.....ya-t-il un style portugais? difficile de jeuger sur en seul modele.................lol fuck that off. what i can see from the piccies is that it has polo headlamps, alfa spotlamps, rs4 style bumper, full leather and alcantara retrim (buckets in front), fully smoothed body work, mirror window tints, fuel filler behind rear light cluster, supersprint backbox, possibly porsche mirrors (maybe new m3)and lots more besides.

oh and one of the cleanest engine bays ever, chrome strut brace suspention tops and custom chrome air intake with red 'twister' filter. and 17's. it also says something about a calibra 16v.....possibly the brakes. :?:
