piece of piss, althoguh you may find the water pump (tensioner) has seized.

might be worth doing the waterpump at the same time, i think u can pick them up from motorfactors for ?25.
its pretty simple really, all i do is to put the endine at top dead centre, as shown in the haynes. all markings lined up, then lossen waterpump and slacken the tensioner pulley, then take off the belt, making sure the top or bottom pulleys have not moved, tension the belt and tighten everything up, give the engine a few turns by hand, and make sure the marks r still lined up and belt is still tight enough. then put the other bits back on :)

If the pump is seized yuo can sometimes feed the new belt on without slackening it, but 9/10 times the belt will be a slightly diferent length to the old one and therefore too tight or too loose, too tight andit will fail, too loose and it will jump and mess up the valve timing, which can lead to contact between pistons and vavles (not good!)
