2.0 8v questions

hiya can anyone help me???
im wondering if a 2.0ltr 8v will go straight into my nova?
also planning to put a 1300 head on it to make really good compression....will this work?

2.08v is a big block. 1300 is a small block, so it'll never fit.

Fitting the engine is pretty much the same procedure as fitting a 2.0 16v. There is a guide in the articles section.

thanks bois told my mate this but hes was sure it would!
will i have to get special mounts for the 2.0ltr?
i also have a sri engine there wich has 140bhp whitch 1 should i use?

You will need a 2.0 fitting kit from the likes of Chris Astley.

I doubt very much you have a 140bhp Nova SRi engine. If you mean a Cav SRi engine, what has it had done to it?

sorry meant 130bhp that came from my bros rally car, its gt a fully worked head and cam ect and has been built by russ tyler and was a very quick lump!
cud i use my 4 spd in it?

Why would you want to use the 4 speed box?

5 speeds are easy to come by from Corsas & Astras.
