i was thinking that the other day....
i was planning a big jap style kit when i first got the car(15 years old) but grown out of this now
i didnt fancy a gsi kit so im going for the abyss kit, i think it keeps the boxy lines of the nova well

sprayed bits of the dash today, did it properly and removed vent and dial and buttons beforehand, i think it looks tacky if you dont.

looks good, some new rims would make a massive difference and a nice paint job and then jobs a gooden. ps. i noticed u removed part of the intake for the air filter. where did u run the pipe closest to the head light?

davehaynes
25-05-08, 05:14 PM
you mean the hot air intake pipe wich connects to the top of the manifold?

saloonwoody
25-05-08, 05:23 PM

just need to extend the headlight wiring loom tomorrow so it reaches the bulbs.
also planning on cutting the lip off the bottom of the lights so it sits flush on the bumper (on the last pic i have photoshoped it off)

then im gonna get cracking on flushing in the spoiler, front a rear bumpers and skirts and also the headlight unit, if you hadn't noticed everything is going smooth. hopefully by the end the only lines on the car will be door, bonnet and tailgate.
well let me know what you think and what you think i should do with it.

I'm sure everyone will make their mind up once they see it in one colour

well.. still got to blend in the skirts and finish off the front end blending, then abit of work on the spoiler then it'll be ready for painting.
either doing it at college myself or local body shop £300 still undecided though.

and also, are you sure them ht leads are ment for that dizzy cap? i thought the smaller style ends(like the mk1 ones) were ment for the black cap? i may be wrong
