Anyone know how to remove the interior door handles ?

And could anyone tell me what Vauxhall comes with black window winders ?

ill have a look tomorrow for you and take step by step pics if i work out how to do it my self :)

and i think its the gsi that has black winders they seemed to have black everything else :)

Aye well to complete my interior I only need - Black window winders, GSi door cappings and the black dash

The door handles will probably just lever off, just try gently prising the back plates, as for everything else, why not paint it all instead? why not convert to electric windows mate?

For the handles they just clip out of postion iirc and you just un hook the metal rod that goes into the back of them and then hook the rod back onto the new ones. It may be easier to take the door card off to see what your doing.

It's a 2 minute job.

yes its fiddiley mate all you need is a straight blade screwdriver , prise the clip back and the old grey winders will come off , ive a set of black ones i got out of an astra , il give you them if you want ? .

Get a piece of piano wire and bend the end into a hook.
The clip is normally clipped on the back of the winder facing away from the handle bit. So slide the wire in between the handle and door card. Then twist so the hook bit grabs the clip. Short sharp yank away from the direction the handle is pointing and it should pop off.

Go careful not to lose the clip.... oh and I have black winders somewhere. Also have black door handle frame clip thingy bobs.

vaughan took mine off today they slide off towards the back of the door tapped mine with a hammer did the job :)

yes its fiddiley mate all you need is a straight blade screwdriver , prise the clip back and the old grey winders will come off , ive a set of black ones i got out of an astra , il give you them if you want ? .exactly have had mine off a few time in the last month due to my window sticking when tring to wing down i found out the actual arm in the door frame had warped causing the window to stiffen upvery smaal flat head screwdriver youll see the clip on the inside like a three quarter ring that bends back on either end which pops over the inside of the door handleyou just got to catch it rite and pop it off:thumb:

Ive got a mk1 one and that come with like a grey colour dashboard , handles/winders and door pockets ect but i plastic primeres then painted all mine matt black and then laqured them ... they look perfect after a quick polish :thumb:

NOTE : on the window winders that the ends are like a rubber grip , mask them off as i herd that the paint will flake off . wich is pretty obvious
