was just out at the car and fired it up for the 1st time in a few weeks started on the ball 1st turn and i was well chuffed was cleaning my alloys and heard a hissing noise comeing from the front wheel or what i thought was the front wheel , looked in behind the wheel to see a little hose hanging down i thought that was it and put my finger over it and it wasnt it , i looked in the wheel arch just behind the bumper to see a cylinder with 2 bits coming off the top of it and it looks liike theres a hose missing from that , i followed the hose up into the bay and its connected to the carb i think  and the other one goes onto the pipe coming off the air filter any ideas lads i will go out and take a few photos if that would help its comeing up to my mot and i want the car out on the roads as soon as i just hope that this is not major or something to seriously worry about thanks for takeing the time to help me . Its the carbon can, reconnect the hose
Its hissing because its connected to the throttle body as a vacuum source.
