not my cup of tea at all i'm afraid.

don't like black cars as a general rule, mainly because (as seen in some of the photos) all the details and lines of the car are lost in a sea of darkness.

and a couple of things,.........

why is the underside of the bonnet red? looks a bit 'odd

the front tyres? with the white lettering? how 'old school' is that!!

and your front slam panel looks like its rusting away nicely in the corners where it meets the wings, that'll need looking at sooner rather than later

L33 LEG

the underside of the bonnet is red because i havnt sprayed it black, obviously.

im sorry for spending a few minutes of my life by writing on my tyres to see what itl look like. il wash it off if thatl please you? or should i just photoshop it off next time for likes of you and others picking pointless faults up?

and ye, my shell is about to collapse, i cant believe i didnt spot the one bit of rust on the whole car and think 'oh no, its going to rust to death!'. oh no, wait a min...i did see it cos i built it up from a shell so stfu with the pointless, unconstructive comments please.

thank you :)

time of the month?

maybe when you grow up a little, you'll reaslise not all people like the same things, and by posting up pictures of your car, you are asking people to judge it.

i did judge it.........i don't like it. you asked for peoples opinions and i gave you mine, now stop being such a woman and take a bit of critism on the chin :thumb:

there's constructive critism and just plain slating mate.

yes i admit, my reply may had been a bit childish. if i had asked for opinions then maybe i would of kept my mouth shut. however, i didnt ask for opinions. good comments are welcome, comments on what i shall do next are also welcome. telling me how rusty my car is/isnt are certainly not welcome, not until you have actually seen it anyway...

ok then, what (i think) you should do next......

paint the bonnet underside black, to match the reat of the paintwork

get rid of the white on the tyres

and sort out the rust on the front slam panel before it gets any worse.

i'm not slating your car (although i still don't like it), just giving you some pointers of where i think you've gone wrong.

you don't have to listen to me, after all its your car, but when you post photos up you have to realise you can't please all of the people, all of the time :thumb:

I like the writing on the tyres :D and I don't think that the bonnet being red looks out of place at all on the black car, with the red line and the strut brace it actually looks pretty smart. Which hills were you in?

Oh and my mate had an SRi: K118 AGS, there seem to be quite a few around with that :D

thats a better reply :)

and yes, i will be spraying the bonnet when i get round to it and iv also got some proxies to put on :)

i dont mind people telling me what they dont like, i think i just read your reply the wrong way and for a second thought i was on corsasport and presumed you were wanting an arguement Lol.

its only red there cos the bonnet was originally red. i admit tho, doesnt look too out of place but def needs spraying.

i live near clitheroe, was up a place called waddington fell.

sweeeeeeet motor, love the black gsi m8, not to keen on the inside of the car but thats my opinion.i have to agree with lynz that for some strange reason the underside of the bonnet(red) doesnt look out of place due to the strut brace but yeah im liking it very much, there should be no reason why it shouldnt make it to pv,id like to say id see you there but that will defo not be happening as my engine is on its last toes(so im told):( :thumb:
