wiring a gsi engine to 1.2 spi

right, ive come to the wiring part of the engine swap. i have the engine loom in place and as much of the original loom aswel. on the gsi engine loom i have a plug with 4 wires. im guessing the wires they need to be connected to are part of the unused engine loom from the old engine?? i hate wiring!! :mad:

Just connect the plug on the gsi engine loom to your car loom.
Red to the batt.
Black to ign live(old coil should have an ign live)
Green and Blue to the dash board
Red/Blue to the fuel pump(find the fuse in the fusebox and join the wire going TO the fuse)

on the gsi loom i have a plug with a thick red,, black,, green,, blue

there is a plug that went onto the old coil that has 4 wires, red/black,, black,,brown,, green

i have found the fuel pump wire red/blue which is connected to a 4 pin relay, does that still need to be used? if not can i join one of the gsi plug wires to that?

Join the gsi blue/red pump wire to the blue/red on the old relay on the spi engine loom yeah.

The black on the old coil will be ign live.

there isnt a blue and red wire on the gsi plug, just red, black, green and blue.

That plug is for the dial feeds, and you should ignore it.
