The insurance company needed specific photos of the car to validate the agreed value for the classic car policy, thought id post them on here for you to look.:)

Front indicators, side repeaters, exhaust, headrests, rear wiper......... so not a great deal.

Car looks nice.

Looks great, just needs some degreasing & new gaskets under the bonnet.

Maybe some 3 spoke GM alloys (not that I'm saying the hubcaps should be binned)

If it was me though, I'd be fitting small mods, E.g.

Panel Filter
Bilstein Shocks with standard springs
Maybe a cam

Basically invisible things that make the car more interesting to drive!

You missed the roof ariel, hehehe, oh and the exhaust is completely standard, as the original is LNS it’s the alternative by bosal. They used to come in a mat grey /black oval tail pipe, the replacement is chrome.
I did consider the standard gte 3-spokes purely cause they’d be lighter hence better performance and fuel economy but I do like the hubs with the red centre griffin. Or it was the astra gte rims, being 14” wouldn’t mess with the odo meter acurracy.
The plan was to slam it with cav slab (still sitting in garage forsale if anyone wants to buy them?) but the standard suspension for everyday driving is ideal and quite comfortable.
As for the rear head rests RHR, they were actually from a MK3 astra, I kind of chopped them about until the plastic locking grove on the sides of the RHR guides were tapered then just wedged /banged them in until it met the fabric (hope that helps)
Well as for more info on the car:
its is completely standard from new with 58k genuine miles on the clock, was a rotter when I bought it, under went a full outer respray with new wings all round wax oiled underneath.
Only thing left is mud flaps to finsh it off, looking at the mk3/4 ones and maybe a speaker upgrade, the standard speakers have no bass what so ever.

They all sit like that if you use the proper inserts

So true, same as my GTE but I can't face changing the originals prefer to keep it same same.

Wish my body work was as good. Did it cost much to get panels/paint to that standard ?

Also probably dumb question - were the GTE grille badges standard or are they an after market addition?
