for cheapness and easynesslol we are probably going to build a 1600 8v gte engine for my rally car..

would a 300deg nova sport cam (1300 sr) work with the 1600..or would i be losing power by fitting a 1300 cam on the 1600 head?

if the nova ENEM sport cam isnt going to work would a kent ast2 or 3 be better or do i really need a 1400 sr/1600 highlift cam?

the reason i am asking this is simply so i can run a 1300 sr dizzy and coil for easyness..

Cheers

Yes it'll fit fine, jsut use the sr dizzy setup.

What are you running the engine on? carbs?

Also, you wont be able use the mechanical fuel pump if your using one.

Fine then.
Ideally you'll need different inlet too, as the ports wont match.

TWIN redtop pumps? way too much, you only need about 5psi max for fuel pressure.

1 pump will run about 5psi iirc :)

Redtops run 6.5 - 7 psi, you do have an adjustable press reg?

yes and i will only have one pump running at one time..have two incase one packs up in the middle of a stage..
