BEE STING

i bought a useless halfords bee sting aerial.. its crap im gonna take it back but i need another bee sting.. anybody know where i can buy a cheap beesting that will actually give me a reception?

you need one with a signal booster, unless yer head units boosts the signal already.

I'm using a halfords standard one and its fine - my head units got a booster though.

Vauxhall do them - not cheap (bout ?30) but genuine GM part.

Try motor factors in yer area - they usually have a stock of arield. Surprised Halfords dont have pne witha booster on it.

Try the scrappy. Went down to my local today and found a written off Vectra - jackpot! I nabbed all the beesting aerial bits, the tailgate window brakelight and the 'Vauxhall' and 'Vectra' badges off the back. He only wanted a fiver for the lot! Hopefully I can get that beesting on just need some cabling and wiring. Dunno if a Vectra one would give you better reception? Can't argue if you can get one that cheap though, must be worth a try.
