20XE Coolant Diagram

Has anyone got one? I'm fitting one today but as the engine came from the back of a van i have no idea what way its plumbed.

What do you need to know? Its quite simple.

Looking from the front of the car..

Pipe on right hand of the head, goes to bottom of header tank.

Plastic pipe around the back of the engine will have 2 pipes off it which go to the heater matrix (left to left side, right to right side)

Theres a thin pipe that comes off the manifold (3 way pipe) that will need to be extended to run across to the header tank. You need to use a T-peice to plumb this into the pipe that goes from the top of the rad to the coolant bottle.

The other rad hoses are same as on the nova. You should be able to use the standard nova top rad to thermostat hose by trimming it slightly.

The Plastic piece on the back has 3 small hoses coming off it. 1 on the Head on the Distribtar side as well.

i was told that de one on the side of the head goes to 1 heater, 1 of the plastic pipe goes to the heater, and 1 of the plastic pipe to the tank?

btw, the pipes under the inlet manifold arent vital, i cut m of and put a bold in, that way you dont need a T-peice.

Right,
Three Rubber pipes coming off the black plactic pipe on the block,
Two for the heater matrix,
One to the header tank.
One from the header tank to the Water Pump,
One from the header tank to the rad,
One large rubber pipe coming from the plastic pipe to the rad,
One pipe from the thermostat to the rad.

Where does the outlet next to the distributar go to?

it goes onto the heater matrix pipe on the right hand side if you are standing at the front of the car

I'm confused now, theres still another outlet on the Black Plastic pipe. 3 the same size, 1 for the header and one for the Matrix, wheres the third one go?

Right One Goes From Header Tank To The Black Pipe Near The Head
The Next One Along Goes From Black Pipe To The Right Hand Matrix Pipe
And The Other Goes To The Left Hand Matrix
